On December 7, 2015, Sonali tied the knot with her boyfriend Jaiyesh Bakhshi in a star-studded wedding. Jaiyesh is also a lawyer by profession and runs his own law firm.

Sonali obtained his LLB and LLM degrees from Amity College of Law, Delhi, from 2001 to 2006, and then became a practicing lawyer.
Sonali Jaitley came into limelight during the 2019 general elections when she addressed AAP leader Arvind on behalf of the BJP’s East Delhi candidate Gautam Gambhir. Defamation notices were sent to Arvind Kejriwal, Atishi Marlena and Manish Sisodia.
