Sonic Has a ‘Witch's Brew’ Green Apple-Flavored Slush Float for Halloween

Sonic is ready for the spooky season!

The fast food chain just announced a magical new addition to its menu ahead of Halloween: the Witch’s Brew Slush Float. The seasonal float has a green apple-flavored slush base studded with salted caramel bubbles and topped with soft serve — plus, even more bubbles. Prices start at $4 per medium.

On Monday, September 30, BRAT-green treat will join Sonic’s line of premium Flavorista Favorites — which includes fan favorites like Grape Escape, Classic Cruiser and Lemonade Cream Cooler.

The Krispy Kreme Pumpkin Spice Donut is back this weekend only — plus the glazed dozen are $2

For those who can’t wait to try the spooky sweet treat, the chain is giving early access to the Witch’s Brew Slush Float by ordering through the Sonic app.

The apple-flavored float will be available at participating Sonic locations through November 3 while supplies last.

In a press release announcing the creepy drink, Sonic CEO Mackenzie Gibson called the chain’s drink “a twist on caramel apple that stands out from the crowd with its unique blend of seasonal flavors and textures.”

“This incredibly well-done creation not only captures the essence of the Halloween season, but also provides a great entertainment experience that is truly one of a kind,” said Gibson.

Many restaurant chains are already getting into the fall spirit with pumpkin-flavored everything, but Sonic is one of the first to release a Halloween item. Chipotle does have Halloween costumes though. The company has partnered with Spirit Halloween to sell five different Chipotle-themed costumes.

Retailing for $40 each, all five costumes — which are all head-to-toe bodysuits or morph suits — represent a different element of Chipotle’s dining experience.

There are also suits for the brand’s black plastic forks and paper napkins, which have long been teased on Chipotle’s social media accounts. There are also suits for disposable water cups, foil-wrapped burritos and, perhaps most famously of all, branded to-go bags.

The Chipotle-inspired bodysuit is available in small to extra large online through Spirit Halloween. Select Halloween locations in Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York and Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey will also carry in-store costumes.
