Sonic the Hedgehog 3 trailer revealed
Video game Easter eggs, new characters, and a darker tone make for the biggest sequel yet.
While the first two movies were indeed faithful to the original game series, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 The trailer shows that the filmmakers are sticking closer to the games than ever before. One of the biggest signs of this is the way the movie handles Shadow’s origin story, namely his relationship with Maria Robotnik, the granddaughter of Gerald Robotnik, who Shadow created to cure her illness. Maria died at the hands of the Guardians of the Nation, which ultimately traumatized Shadow and set him on the path of the game’s antihero.
In the trailer, Reeves’ voice fits the cool, brooding image of Shadow in the Sega series very well.
In addition to his true story, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 The trailer also does a good job of showing off the various Easter eggs the filmmakers are bringing to Dark Shadows from the games.
From a black hedgehog riding a motorcycle to running on the ground using skate-like movements and possessing the ability to teleport, director Jeff Fowler and screenwriters Pat Casey, Josh Miller, and John Whittington have preserved this beloved character. In addition, Reeves’ voice in the trailer fits well with the calm, contemplative style that Shadow is known for in the Sega series.
Another exciting discovery came from Sonic the Hedgehog 3 The trailer revealed that Carrey will not only play Robotnik, who is closer to the image in the game, but also play the character’s grandfather, Gerald Robotnik. Considering Shadow is the opening character of the film series, it makes sense to include Gerald, and it also allows Carrey to further show his comedic skills in multiple roles. At present, many actors have not yet been announced. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Cast, it will be interesting to see if the filmmakers have more characters from the games ready for fans of the series.
