Sophia Bush debuts her new look!
On Thursday, July 4, One Tree Hill alum, 41, kicked off her Independence Day celebrations with a new hair color.
“We decided to put RED in ‘red white and blue’ this year ♥️,” she wrote under the joint Instagram post.
Tagging hairstylist Nikki Lee and makeup artist Afton Williams, Bush flashed a beaming smile as she glanced back at the camera to show off her lighter locks.
The star, who is known for her dark brunette look, then turned to the side in another shot while wearing a blue denim shirt and jeans.
Revealing the front of her button-up shirt in the latest picture, Bush tilted her head to the side as her hair fell down to a wavy middle part.

“Slayyy queen!💅🏻❤️🔥,” another person commented, while a third added, “you’ve always been THAT girl💋.”
Bush also shared a video of her new hair color on TikTok. Beginning the video of her rocking a straight, makeup-free face at the camera, the actress mimicked her voice.
“Imagine the day they see you again,” said the voice in the frame. “And you’re just..good.”

Bush then flipped her hair to the side before the camera changed her look with her copper red hair and full face of make-up.
Synchronizing with the change in style, the voice added, “Better,” as John Tucker must die the star wore a white crop top under a blue shirt.
Bush’s hairstyle change comes after she attended a celebration Woolf Works at the American Ballet Theater in New York in June.
With her darker locks, Bush posed on the red carpet with girlfriend Ashlyn Harris, with whom she has been in a relationship since 2023.
The Chicago police star was dressed in a long-sleeved V-neck top and a bright red midi skirt, while Harris, 38, wore a blue double-breasted ensemble and a pair of round sunglasses.
