Sophie Turner has been staying at a New York home owned by her friend Taylor Swift amid the actress’ divorce from Joe Jonas, multiple sources confirm to PEOPLE.
The Game of Thrones The alum, 27, was spotted leaving the house on Thursday dressed casually in gray trousers, a t-shirt and a zip-up top. She was wearing sunglasses and holding her phone as she crossed the cobbled street. Page six was the first to report on Turner’s stay.
“Sophie is fine. She’s happy to be back with her girls,” a source close to Turner told PEOPLE of the mother of two. “Working in Europe has been very difficult for her. She missed her girls,”
She shares daughters Willa, 3, and Delphine, 14 months, with Jonas, 34. Their younger daughter’s name was revealed for the first time in court documents this week.

“Taylor opened her home to Sophie,” the source continues. “Sophie is always welcome there. Taylor is still a great friend.”
The source also notes that “Sophie and Joe take turns seeing their girls,” who have been the subject of a custody battle since their split.
A temporary consent order was filed Monday, ordering the former couple to keep their daughters in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. The new filing comes after Turner last week sued Jonas for wrongful detention of the couple’s children, claiming he was holding their passports.
Shortly after Turner filed her complaint, Jonas released a statement disputing her claims and said he believed the two had reached an agreement to work on a co-parenting plan.

Swift also has her primary residence in the city and has recently been spotted at various Manhattan hot spots, including Turner.
They were photographed walking hand-in-hand to Temple Bar on Lafayette Street after dinner together last Tuesday. They met again that Thursday at the Hotel Barrière Fouquet, where they were joined by the Haim sisters, Este, Danielle and Alana Haim.
On September 5, Jonas filed for divorce from Turner after 4 years of marriage. The petition claims that “the marriage between the parties has been irretrievably dissolved.” The couple first connected via Instagram DM in 2016 and married in 2019.
