The coffee chain is introducing two new breakfast treats and a new Iced Shaken Hazelnut Oat Milk Espresso
Starbucks is expanding its menu for the winter.
The cafe chain is introducing a new drink to its regular menu starting Wednesday: Iced Shaken Hazelnut Oat Milk Espresso. With a base of blue espresso, the drink is shaken with hazelnut syrup and topped with oat milk.
Starbucks is also reintroducing the Pistachio Latte and Pistachio Cream Cold Brew to the winter menu for a limited time. Starbucks introduced this drink last year. It’s made from cold-brewed coffee that’s sweetened with vanilla syrup and topped with a sumptuous pistachio cream foam and a drizzle of salted brown butter.

There are new food offers this season as well. The new potato, cheddar and chive cakes are available on the winter menu while supplies last. They are made with cage-free eggs, diced potatoes, cheddar cheese, spinach and chives.
Another short-lived offering on the sweeter side is the new Danish vanilla bean cream, a pastry filled with rich vanilla bean cream.

Starbucks is changing the type of ice it uses in its drinks
Along with tasty new options, Starbucks is expanding its “Bring Your Own Cup” policy. Starting Wednesday, customers can use their personal mug in the drive-thru and to place orders via mobile phone. Previously, you could only do this in the store.
At the drive-thru, customers can simply tell the barista when ordering that they have brought their own cup.

When ordering with a reusable cup on the mobile app, customers select the “customize” button and select “personal cup.” Then I can order a drink normally. When they arrive at the store, the baristas say their order in the pick-up area and hand them a cup.
There are benefits when you bring your own mug. Customers get ten cents off, and Starbucks Rewards members can get 25 bonus stars.
