Stephanie Linnartz’s professional career began after she graduated. In 1992, she got her first full-time job at Hilton Worldwide. She spent three years in sales and operations in Washington and Honolulu.

In June 1997, she left Hilton to work as global sales, marketing and revenue management officer for Mariott International. She was the strategic leader of the company’s global sales and revenue management teams. She also created and implemented long-term strategic plans for sales and development, which led to the company’s expansion outside the US.

A few years later, she was promoted to senior vice president of global sales. At the end of December 2012, she was promoted to Vice President of Revenue Management and then to Director of Lodging Finance and Business Development. During this 15-year period, she oversaw the reorganization of the company’s on- and off-property sales force, designed and implemented revenue management systems, helped develop Mariott’s long-term strategy, and more.

In January 2013, she was appointed President of the Consumer, Technology and New Business Group. She worked in the same positions for the next eight years. During this time, she made a number of critical decisions, including the development of a new high-end and luxury range of houses, homes and villas for rent.

She was eventually promoted to President in February 2021 as she excels in vital qualities such as leadership, management, company growth, hospitality and so on. Unfortunately, she decided to leave the company in February 2023 after working there for almost 25 years. She is leaving the hospitality industry to become CEO and president of Under Armour, a sports equipment company.
