DANCING On Ice host Stephen Mulhern had a hilarious response for Ricky Hatton after the boxer “punched” him live on air.
The ITV ice skating competition returned on Sunday night, but there was more drama off the ice than on it.

Ricky, 45, left fans in hysterics after he “punched” Stephen as he made his debut – leaving co-host Holly Willoughby fuming.
After the show, a message appeared on Ricky’s X account.
It read: “Ricky even delivers knockout punches in Dancing On Ice. Hope you’re well, Stephen Mulhern.”
Stephen received the message in a good mood and replied, “I’m already getting bruises!”

Many fans were left in stitches by the couple’s banter and took to social media to comment.
One viewer wrote: “Hahahaha I have to say well done Ricky Hatton. I laughed so hard at that shot.”
Another joked: ‘Mulhern defo needed that shot from Hatton’.
While another cheekily commented: “Stephen is going to sue Ricky Hatton for that kick.”
Stephen told MailOnline: “Ricky is one strong man, I asked him to punch me as a gag, forgetting for a second that he’s a three-time world boxing champion and yes, it hurt a lot!”
During the skit, Ricky was asked to hold the microphone, but prankster Stephen kept trying to wind him up.
Holly stated, “Just hit him Ricky, please.”
Ricky then delivered a convincing left hook to him, and he flipped live on air as part of the routine.
Holly, who returned to television tonight after a three-month hiatus, looked shocked at first but then cheered the joke.
Ricky found himself at the bottom of the rankings tonight – he got 12.5 points from the judges.
Dressed in boxing gear, Ricky wore knee pads as he repeated boxing moves on the ice and did push-ups to Bill Conti’s Rocky movie tune Gonna Fly Now with his skating partner Robin Johnstone.
Judge Ashley Banjo said it was “iconic” and said he could be proud of the crowd’s reaction.
Before his first skate, Ricky received a video message from boxer Tyson Fury saying “good luck”.
Tyson said, “Hi Rick. Tyson Fury here.
“I’m in the training camp with undisputed, I used this time to wish you lots of luck with Dancing on Ice.
“All the best guys. Do your best.
“Knock them out, Rick!”
Unfortunately, Ricky could face elimination next week after the public vote, meaning he’ll be on the slide.
