During his high school years, Steve Perry worked with various bands. At that time, his mother always encouraged him to pursue a musical career. Later, Steve Perry moved to Sacramento, California, and formed “Ice” with Scott Mathews. With the band in disarray due to mismanagement, they disbanded and Steve moved to Thousand Oaks, California to form the Pieces with Tim Bogert, Eddie Tuduri and Denver Cross.
