Storm Reid’s new gig is a “full circle” moment for her.
The Euphoria star debuts as an ambassador for Coach on September 5 — a brand she’s known and loved for years. Although she has been wearing Coach bags since she was young and has been dressed in the brand many times, she has only now been designated as the face of the brand.
And we mean it literally – Reid gets a pair of sunglasses to coach.
In the sunny campaign, Reid models a stylish pair of shades and tells PEOPLE that when you wear the right pair of sunglasses, you “ooze confidence,” and she’s all about that.

Reflecting on her memories of coaching, Reid, 21, recalled her younger years when she had a very humble, very careful and “very lovely” entry into the world of coaching as a child.
“My first Coach bag was hot pink, if I’m not mistaken,” she tells PEOPLE. “And I loved it. I was super excited when I got my first Coach bag. My older sisters wore Coach, my mom wore Coach. And I would put my lip glosses in my little bag. I also had Coach shoes. So a full-circle moment when you’re part of a brand that you genuinely love to wear and that’s been a part of your life for a very long time is really cool.”

Reid, who is currently in her senior year at the University of Southern California, tells PEOPLE that she has a soft spot for trainer and creative director Stuart Vevers, as they created one of her first custom red carpet pieces for A wrinkle in time premiering in Los Angeles in 2018. The team worked with Reid’s stylist Jason Bolden to create the perfect look for Reid — and she’s forever grateful.
“Stuart and his team are amazing and have always been very supportive, so I’m delighted officially to be part of the brand now,” she says.
She even went to the Met Gala with Coach this year, wearing another tailored look and carrying a Times Square Tabby bag with lots of New York-themed charms. It was her second trip to fashion’s biggest night (the first was in 2021), and she tells PEOPLE that it was “much more relaxed” this time around, having climbed the Met Museum’s famous steps before.
“I was ecstatic to be there again,” she says. “It’s going to be a nerve-racking night no matter what, but it was fun. Being Mr. Stuart’s companion was a good time – we danced, we sang.”
The new Unlock Your Courage campaign also stars new global ambassadors Charles Melton, Elle Fanning and Nazha, as well as returning Coach family members Jayson Tatum, Koki and Youngji Lee.
