Robin specifically provides Nancy with varying levels of support, especially emotional support, as Nancy is conflicted about her estranged relationship with Jonathan Byers (Charlie Heaton), while harboring persistent and conflicting feelings for Steve Harrington (Joe Keery).
However, it seems that Robin has filled the void in Nancy’s life due to the tragic death of Bob (Shannon Purser) in the first season. After her friend passed away, Nancy didn’t have any close friends to confide in, except for the two loves of her life, Steve and Jonathan.
