After reaching The Slums in Stray, there will be a lot of exploration opportunities and side activities available, including a quest to find resources for the Barterman, Azooz, and exchange them for various objects. The items that Azooz has are needed for either the main story or one of the side quests. In order to complete the three trades available from Azooz, the cat will need to find Super Detergent and four Energy Drinks in The Slums.
To find Azooz, players can go down the stairs after speaking to the Guardian, then his stall will be visible. There are three different items to exchange resources for with Azooz. This vendor in Stray has a Music Sheet, an Ancient Relic, and an Electrical Cord that’s needed for the main story. The mysterious Ancient Relic’s purpose won’t be revealed until after it’s claimed from Azooz, but it’s needed for a side quest.
The Music Sheet will require one Energy Drink to obtain from Azooz, and the other three Energy Drinks in The Slums are needed to trade for the Ancient Relic. To get the Electrical Cord, players will need to find one Super Detergent. Each of these objects can be found somewhere in The Slums, and they shouldn’t be too difficult to locate. Once all the objects are collected, the cat can return to Azooz and claim their prizes.
Where To Find Energy Drinks In The Slums In Stray
There are four Energy Drinks that can all be collected from the operational vending machines found around The Slums in Stray. The first Energy Drink can be found by backtracking to the main area, then continuing down the stairs to find a vending machine near Morusque, the robot that’s holding a guitar. The cat just needs to walk up and interact with the vending machine in order to collect the Energy Drink.
For the second Energy Drink, the cat can go back to the plaza and head toward the Super Detergent store, then go past it and up the stairs. At the top of the stairs and to the left, there will be a vending machine with an Energy Drink to collect. The next vending machine can be found by going to the rooftops and reaching Doc’s Library. Then the cat can go under the Library to collect the Energy Drink. From the third Energy Drink location, players can go to the right and head down to find the last vending machine on a balcony.
How To Get Super Detergent In The Slums In Stray
In order to get Stray‘s Super Detergent, the cat will need to go to the store, which is near the main plaza. There are robots on the roof that the cat can interact with to get the door open. After speaking to the robot, the cat can meow when he throws the paint can. The robot will drop the paint can, and this causes the Super Detergent store’s owner to come out to clean up the mess. The cat can then sneak in and climb up onto the table on the left near the window. After grabbing the Super Detergent, the cat can return to Azooz.
Getting The Music Sheet, Ancient Relic, & Electrical Cord From Azooz In Stray
Once the Super Detergent and four Energy Drinks are collected, the cat can return to Azooz to trade for the Music Sheet, Ancient Relic, and Electrical Cord. The Music Sheet is one of eight that needs to be delivered to Morusque to complete a side quest. Similarly, the Ancient Relic is needed to complete the memory side quest for B-12 in Stray. Azooz’s last item, the Electrical Cord, will be used to progress the main story in Stray.
