Strictly Come Dancing: is Holly Willoughby set to be new presenter?

Strictly Come Dancing bosses are reportedly interested in hiring Holly Willoughby to take over the popular BBC show.

The BBC is said to be keen on collaborating with Holly again after she presented Freeze the Fear, and had an “idea” for how she might be on the hugely popular dance show – you know? Want to see her join Tess Daly and Claudia Winkman? HELLO! Have reached out to a Holly rep for comment.

It’s certainly been a rough time for the mother-of-three’s ITV career in recent months after her co-star Phillip Schofield left This Morning after admitting to an affair with an actor.

At the time, he released a statement that read: “I am in a consensual relationship with a younger male co-worker on This Morning. Contrary to speculation, when I met that man when he was a teenager and was offered to help him get into television, only after starting work on the show did it become more of a friendship. is illegal. Now it’s over.”

The star appeared on the show as usual after taking a two-week break amid the scandal, but was set free on Monday after spending the weekend in Glastonbury. Presenting the show with Josie Gibson, Craig Doyle told viewers: “Holly is off today, she’ll be back tomorrow.”
