STRICTLY star Nick Knowles said women in the North East were “sluts” in a sleazy chat with a young charity worker, it was claimed last night.
The TV favourite, 62, is said to have made a series of rude and abusive remarks to the woman and looked at her breasts while filming BBC show DIY SOS: The Big Build.

This made the 33-year-old support worker feel ashamed and humiliated, she claimed.
The mother of one said Knowles interviewed her in 2018 for an episode of the series about renovating a home for a young blind girl with a genetic disorder.
She claims he turned up late after he’d been drinking the night before – and later made out in the van.
Knowles was said to be hungover, looking the worse for wear and smelling of stale booze and cigarettes after partying at North Shields Fish Quay.

When the then 26-year-old’s microphone fell down her blouse, the star reportedly said: “Too bad there’s no camera.”
And as she recounts his big night out, she claims he called the North Shields women “munters” and said she was “the first hot woman he’d seen” while in the North East.
She told The Sun: “I was humiliated. He humiliated me in a very personal way in front of the whole team. It was offensive. He was in his late 50s. It was so inappropriate and I felt slighted.
“I was looking forward to meeting him and he ruined the whole experience for me.”
The woman, who asked to remain anonymous, said she did not challenge him at the time. She said: “I remember just laughing and feeling embarrassed. There were other people around and they were all there to do a good deed for the little girl. I didn’t want to spoil that special moment.”
The woman, who posed for a photo with the star, said he did not touch her or make a pass.

She said that when the cameras came on, he suddenly transformed into showman mode.
She said: “He comes across as a nice, sensitive guy on camera, but from my experience he’s a very different person in real life.”
The star saw that she was wearing an engagement ring and allegedly tried to talk her out of the wedding, saying that he couldn’t do it.
She said she decided to speak out after watching Knowles on Strictly with dance pro Luba Mushtuk, saying: “It made me so angry to see him dance.”
PR guru Claire Barber said: “To say that about North East women is a reflection of his values towards women as a whole.”
The BBC declined to comment but said it was “against any inappropriate behavior and has robust procedures in place should questions arise”.
Last night Knowles said he had met hundreds of people in his line of work and could not be expected to remember what he said to everyone he met.
