Strictly’s Angela Scanlon faces trouble with police after video posted online

Angela Scanlon was reported to the police after the TV presenter shared a video of herself dancing while hanging out of the window of a moving car, MailOnline reports.

Angela, 39, who is paired with professional dancer Carlos Guo for the BBC’s Ballroom and Latin competition, danced while a friend filmed from the front seat. The video has since been deleted.

The host said in a statement: “I made the absolute wrong decision when I shot this video. I was coming from rehearsals and I was giddy with excitement. That’s no excuse, because what I did was stupid and I’m sorry I let the excitement get the better of me. my judgment.” The report also states that the presenter’s position on the show will not be threatened.

Taking to her Instagram on Sunday, the TV star wrote: “1st week DONE!!! I just got fried and had a bit of a lie down. My head is spinning and I’m not really sure what the hell happened. What a night. Everyone was amazing. I literally forgot to speak, I was so nervous/stunned, so out of my comfort zone, so exposed, so ladylike.

“But I loved every second of it and thank you EVERYONE for the messages and comments on our TANGO!! When I heard we were doing it I almost threw up but actually I kind of loved being fierce and moody and fiery. Thank you so much my dream boat @gkx_carlos because you’re patient and kind and you make me laugh without actually trying – you’re one in a million.”

Angela added, “I’m so happy you’re with me on this and I can’t wait to unlearn everything and have you teach me a completely different dance tomorrow that has rules that completely contradict everything we learned last week.”
