NIGEL Harman has shared a lengthy post about gratitude after a tough weekend on Strictly Come Dancing.
The 50-year-old, who is now a meditation coach, appeared in a reflective mood this morning and told his followers he was “focusing on emotions”.

He seemed depressed when Credits: Splash came out today
Last night Nigel appeared to storm off the Strictly stage after the judges judged his quickstep.
Actor and pro partner Katya Jones’ routine to Duke Ellington’s It Means Nothing left them second from the bottom of the judges’ top rankings.
And Nigel was visibly distressed when Craig Revel Horwood said: “The footwork, my love – it went quite wrong.”
He lowered his head as Anton Du Beke added, “Well, it’s a shame you’re such a brilliant dancer. It’s just amazing, and then you make a few mistakes.”
And footage with 1.4 million views on social media shows him rushing backstage seconds after BBC cameras stopped rolling.
Back in meditation mode today, Nigel told his followers: “Today’s meditation explores how regularly practicing gratitude can help cultivate a more positive mindset and increase feelings of well-being and contentment.”
He continued, “Ask yourself, ‘What am I grateful for today?’
“Don’t think too much about it, it doesn’t have to be deep, it can be family, friends or a favorite walk or a cuppa. Just something that brings a little smile or comfort. Remember this image or person and notice how it feels in the body, using curious, loving attention.
“To allow this positive feeling of gratitude to fill the whole being. And when you’re ready, open your eyes.”
Nigel added: “Trying to think about all the things you’re grateful for can help bring awareness throughout the day. Don’t worry if you find this difficult at first, asking questions is a good start. Over time, you will notice that there are things to be grateful for everywhere.”
His followers were quick to respond and offer their support, with one person saying: “You were both so good on Saturday. I hated seeing you so upset. You didn’t let the show down so try not to get mad about it.”
Another told him, “Don’t let the need to please the judges take away the joy of dancing.”
“Don’t let the results or comments get you down,” another person added.
But despite a score of 31, he avoided dancing at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom thanks to audience votes.
Instead, it was Angela Rippon, 79, and Bobby Brazier, 20, who were forced to go again – with Angela and partner Kai Widdrington in charge.
