Subhash Banuda alias Suriya was an Indian gangster, best known as the son of criminal Balbir Banuda. He was reportedly involved in the murder of Punjabi pop singer Sidhu Moose Wala on May 29, 2022, in Mansa district of Punjab.

Subhash Banuda was involved in criminal activities when he was just 15 years old. According to reports, Subhash’s father Balbir Banuda and Anand Pal Singh were attacked in Bikaner Central Jail on July 23, 2014, in which his father died. Traumatized by his father’s murder, Subhash turned his career from boxing to crime.

On March 13, 2015, he was at a farmhouse in the village with his father’s friends. Police raided the farmhouse and arrested six people; police also seized weapons from them. Although Subhash escaped the attack, the police registered a case against him under the Arms Act.

It is learned that gangster Anand Pal Singh, a friend of Subhash’s father and a member of the Subhash Baral gang, escaped from jail and killed La Two members of Raju Thehat’s gang. Later, on June 24, 2017, Anand Pal Singh was killed in a police encounter in Murasal, Rajasthan. Soon after the death of Anand Pal Singh, Subhash Bhanuda started working as a member of the gangster Subhas Baral gang. After gangster Anand Pal is killed in a police encounter, Subhas Baral and his gang decide to team up with Lawrence Bishnoi. On August 23, 2017, Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang murdered Sardar Ra of Sikar on the orders of Subhash Baral Sardar Rao.

Soon after, Subhash Banuda surrendered to IG Dinesh MN after repeated attempts by the police to arrest him failed. According to reports, Subhash Banuda is one of the suspects in the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala. On May 29, 2022, Sidhu was shot dead by eight sharpshooters in his hometown of Mansa district in Punjab province. He was driving a Mahindra Thar SUV to a relative’s house. On the road, Moose Vara was followed by two suspicious cars, which he mistook for his fans. Soon, eight gunmen came out of the car and opened fire on Muswara. He was immediately rushed to Mansa Civil Hospital where he was declared dead. Canadian gangster Goldie Brar claimed responsibility for the murder. Soon after, Lawrence Bishnoi confirmed his involvement in Sidhu Moose Wala’s case via a Facebook post in which he claimed to have killed Sidhu and His gang members Goldy Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi.
