- Suchi Mukherjee became the first Indian to receive a Cambridge Commonwealth Trust Scholarship in 1994 to study economics at Cambridge University. She is also a Chadburn Scholar, holding the university’s record in development economics. She was elected a fellow of the Newnham Associates of Cambridge University in 2008, and is a British Chevening Scholar at the London School of Economics (LSE). Scholar).
- Suchi came up with the idea for LimeRoad a month after giving birth to her second child. As she flipped through a magazine, she realized she couldn’t buy the jewelry featured in the magazine, so a technology with a simple interface was needed to help women discover such outsourced products.
