Sudeepa Pinky took to one of her social media accounts to reveal that she started working in the Telugu film industry as a child artist. In 1994, she played a child artist in the Telugu film M. Dharmaraju MA directed by Raviraja Pinnesetti. She posted a photo of herself as a child artist with a caption. Sudeepa Pinky wrote,
My first step as a child artist was in the film M. Dharmaraju MA in 1994, in which Mohan Babu Garu played the role of Chintapandu. “
Later, she worked with veteran Telugu actors Venkatesh Daggubati and Aarti Agarwal in the film Nuvvu Naaku Nachav in 2001. Sudeepa said her role in the film earned her huge popularity and she became famous for her character’s name “Pinky”, which she later affixed to her real name.
