Suhail Chandhok is an Indian actor and television host. He is a commentator for Star Sports and has hosted sporting events such as cricket, hockey, football and kabaddi. He is the son of Vicky Chandhok, a multiple-time Rally India champion and president of the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India. His elder brother Karun Chandhok is one of two Formula One drivers from India.

Suhail Chandhok married Trishya Screwvala, daughter of Ronnie Screwvala (entrepreneur and philanthropist), in a private ceremony on January 19, 2017. The wedding took place at the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai. This was followed by a reception at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse Racecourse, which was attended by many celebrities and industrialists.

Suhail started his career as a cricketer in 2009 while playing in the Indian Premier League with cricket team Royal Challengers Bangalore. He also participated in the 2009 UEFA Champions League Twenty20. He competed for two years before retiring due to a serious knee injury and multiple surgeries.
After being forced to give up his dream of cricket, Suhail, who was also fascinated by the camera, made a short film under the title “Johnny Vitrivel”. He uploaded the video to YouTube, where it attracted considerable attention.
His father shared the video link with South Indian actor Ajith Kumar, who suggested his name for a role in the Tamil film Arrambam (2013) . Later, he played the role of Kumaran in the film Veeram (2014).

Apart from being a commentator and sportscaster, Suhail is also a public speaker. He has been a public speaker on various platforms including MRF, PUMA, TATA Motors, GQ India and Premier Futsal. Chandoc has also shared his written opinions on various topics in sports in several publications. In 2016, Chandhok produced India’s first Periscope TV talk show “OnTheBall with Suhail”.
