Nawab Shah, also known as Nawaab Shah, was born on October 12, 1972 in Delhi, India (age 47 in 2019). He attended Mussoorie Modern School and Weinberg Allen School in Uttarakhand. He made his Bollywood debut in 1998 with the film Kudrat.

In 1997, he made his debut in the TV serial Shaktimaan, in which his catchphrase “Andhera Kayam Rahe” became popular among the masses. This famous slogan is still popular among people today.

Nawab Shah made his television debut with the serial Shaktimaan. He made his Bollywood debut in 1998 with the film Kudrat. Since then, he has appeared in many movies and TV series. He acted in the movie “Raja ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya” starring Manisha Koirala and Arvind Swamy.
In 2002, he starred in the Bollywood movie “Be-Lagaam”.
However, he came into the limelight with the 2003 film Escape from the Taliban.
Nawab Shah became a household name after playing the role of ‘Kakodar/Major JJ’ in the TV series ‘Shaktimaan’. Since then, he has acted in television serials like Amma and Naagarjuna-Ek Yoddha.

Nawab has not only acted in Bollywood films like “Parwana”, “Woh”, “Dukaan”, “Lakshya”, “Chehra” but also in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada movies. Nawab Shah plays the villain ‘Jabbar’ in the Bollywood film Don 2 starring Shah Rukh Khan.
