Summer House Stars Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard’s Friends and Family Vacation in Mexico the Week of Their Canceled Wedding

Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke were set to tie the knot in Mexico on Friday — and even though the former couple called off the ceremony in September, some of their Bravo castmates still made the trip to their wedding destination.

former Summer house Costars Kyle Cooke and Gabby Prescod posted Instagram stories from their vacation at the Unico 20°87° Riviera Maya Hotel, as well as Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay and her husband Brock Davies. Carl’s mother, Sharon Radke, and stepfather, Lou, also joined the group.

Cooke, whose wife Amanda Batula does not appear in the videos, shared footage of himself at the club with Shay, Davies and Prescod on Thursday night.

In a video posted by Shay, she dances on Davies’ lap. The couple, who are parents to 2-year-old daughter Summer Moon, tied the knot at Dreams Natura Resort & Spa in Cancún, Mexico in August 2022.

Prescod, who joined Summer house for Season 7 earlier this year, he could be seen enjoying cocktails on the beach.

Summer House’s Lindsay Hubbard & Carl Radke Officially Call Off Wedding After Calling Off Engagement (Exclusive)

Shay previously revealed that she will be going on the trip during a conversation with Summer house alum Hannah Berner and current cast member Paige DeSorbo on the Oct. 6 episode of her podcast, Scheananigans.

– I’m still going – she said. “We didn’t go on our honeymoon, and when we got the email that said, ‘If you all still want to go, go,’ I texted Kyle and Amanda, and they said, ‘We’re still going.'”

Carl and Hubbard officially called off their wedding in September, after getting engaged in August 2022.

In a letter to family and friends obtained by PEOPLE, Carl announced the news and apologized for any confusion or inconvenience the change of plans may have caused.

“Words cannot describe how difficult the last two weeks have been for Lindsay and I,” he wrote. “We are incredibly sorry to all of our guests for the confusion and lack of communication. We are left trying to figure out how exactly this all happened before we could even have a chance to determine a way forward between us.”

“There have been many false stories and misunderstandings that have made this even more painful, but unfortunately we are not going ahead with the wedding at this time,” he continued. “The fact is that Lindsay is devastated and I am devastated at how this has all happened. I am kindly asking for some patience and grace for us to heal and recover as we go through this extremely difficult time.”

Hubbard spoke about the broken engagement earlier this month Us Weekly that the split was not her decision.

“He blew up my whole life,” she said. “I cried, I was angry and I had to find the end on my own. Now I’m in a place where I feel really good about moving on.”

Carl shared his side of the split at BravoCon in Las Vegas two weeks ago.

“I strongly do not believe that she was blindsided because we had those conversations,” he told PEOPLE. He added that viewers will “pick up” what caused the problems in their relationship during the upcoming eighth season Summer house.

“We had a very difficult summer and I think people will see that,” Radke said. “But it just shows the seriousness of the situation when I really felt deep down that I needed to talk to her about where we were in our relationship and moving forward with the wedding.”
