Sunaina Yella made her debut in the film industry in 2005 with the Telugu film Kumar vs Kumari. In 2006, she made brief appearances in the films Something Special and 10th Class. Later, in 2006, she made her debut in the Malayalam film industry with the movie “Best Friends”, in which she played the role of Kavya. She got her big break in 2008 with the film Kadhalil Vizhunthen, which marked her debut in the Tamil film industry. She starred in the film alongside Nakkhul Jaidev.
In 2009, she starred again in one of the most successful films at the box office, “Maasilamani”, alongside Nakkhul Jaidev.
