In 2010, she met Rohan Bopanna through his cousin at a restaurant. In an interview, Supriya Annaiah revealed how Rohan proposed to her. She revealed that Rohan got in touch with her best friend to find out what Supriya’s ring size was. He reserved a room and decorated it carefully to surprise her. He took Supriya to the room and said he had reserved a room for his friend’s honeymoon suite. Later he got down on one knee and proposed to her.

Supriya Annaiah started her career in 2009 as an educational volunteer at the Greater India Dream Foundation in Bangalore. In 2012, she worked as a Visiting Consultant and Psychologist at St. Martha’s Hospital, Army Public School, Bangalore and Lake Montfort School, Bangalore. In 2017, she was a guest lecturer at the Karnataka Spasticity Association. In January 2013, she started working as a psychotherapist and counselor. She is also a director of the Rohan Bopanna Tennis Development Foundation, which is registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).
