dr. Susana Herrick is originally from New York, and received her higher education at Central Connecticut State University (CCSU). At CCSU, she excelled in both academics and athletics, playing Division 1 volleyball and lacrosse while earning her Bachelor of Science degree. Her passion for dentistry led her to the University of Connecticut College of Dental Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2008.
Dr. Herrick’s commitment to serving others extended beyond her studies. During her time in dental school, she participated in a mission trip to Belize, providing much-needed dental care to the local population. In addition, she has dedicated her time to various volunteer initiatives, including the South Park Homeless Shelter, Give Kids a Smile, Ct Mission of Mercy, and the Special Olympics. Through these efforts, she has demonstrated her compassion and commitment to improving the oral health of underserved communities.
To further enhance her dental skills and knowledge, Dr. Herrick completed a one-year general practice internship at Hartford Hospital. This intensive program allowed her to expand her expertise in all aspects of general dentistry.
