Sushant Mishra is an Indian cricketer who has represented Jharkhand in the domestic circuit and represented India U-19 in the 2020 U-19 World Cup. He has played for Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Sushant Mishra was born on Sunday, December 23, 2000, in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India (age 23; as of 2024). His zodiac sign is Capricorn. He attended SRDAV Public School in Pundag, Ranchi. He hails from Tumol village in Ali Nagar block of Darbhanga district in Bihar. He used to play cricket in his society, Shalimar Bagh Colony in Pundag. In 2011, he was inspired to become a cricketer when the Indian team won the 2011 World Cup in India.
In 2012, he joined Harmu Youth Cricket Club (HYCC) in Ranchi and trained under the guidance of Satyam Roy. He later went to a cricket academy where coach Shashikant Pathak trained him as a fast bowler. At the age of 15, he joined the Algora Cricket Academy in Ranchi.
He initially pursued BA (Hons) in English (Hons) from Sharda University, Delhi, which was later changed to BA (Hons) in Sociology. He later became a professional cricketer.

In 2013, he played for Ranchi and won the U-14 Inter-District JSCA Championship. In 2014, he played for the Jharkhand U-14 team. In 2017, he represented East Zone in the 2-day inter-zonal Under-16 tournament organized by the National Cricket Academy (NCA), Bengaluru.
He played for the Jharkhand U-16 team from 2015-16 to 2016-17. He played for the Jharkhand U-19 team from 2017-18 to 2019-20; he trained under the guidance of Manish Vardhan while playing for the team. He was the highest wicket-taker for Jharkhand Under-23 team in the 2018-19 Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) one-day tournament, taking 18 wickets in 7 matches. He made his debut for Jharkhand A on 8 December 2021 in the 2021-22 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He made his first appearance for Ranji in Jharkhand on February 17, 2022.
