He committed suicide in his hometown on Tuesday, July 7, 2020. The reason for the suicide has not been revealed. He had been staying at VV Nagara’s house in Mandya for the past three months during the coronavirus lockdown. On July 7, 2020, he went to a friend’s house in Induvalu village in Mandya and committed suicide there.
Reacting to his death, Kannada actress Amita Ranganath said,
I got the news from a friend. I still can’t believe he is gone. He was such a gentle, kind-hearted person who never lost his cool. It’s so sad to know he left us so early. He had the talent to achieve so much more in the entertainment industry.”
Popular Kannada actor Duniya Vijay condoled his death and wrote on his social media account,
The first time I saw him, I felt he was a hero. Even before the movie came out, he left us too early. Whatever the problem was, suicide is not the answer. I don’t think this series of deaths will end this year. People are not only scared because of the coronavirus, but also because there are no jobs that can give them money to sustain their lives, people are losing confidence. Now is the time to become stronger and overcome the crisis. ”
