Swami Prasad Peacock was an Indian politician. He is a member of the 17th Legislative Assembly of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. He was elected to the Legislative Assembly from Dalmau and Padrauna constituencies in Uttar Pradesh for five terms. As an MLA, he held key positions as Cabinet Minister, Leader of the House and Leader of the Opposition in the Uttar Pradesh government. Swami Prasad Maurya served as Cabinet Minister for Labour, Employment and Coordination in the Government of Uttar Pradesh from March 19, 2017 to January 11, 2022.

Swami Prasad Maurya began his political career in 1980 when he was appointed Chairman of the Allahabad Yuva Lokdal in Uttar Pradesh.
