Root canal treatment gone wrong
On May 28, 2022, Swathi underwent root canal surgery at a private hospital called Oryx Dental Multi-Specialty Hospital in Bangalore; however, the surgery failed, resulting in a swollen face. When the doctors were asked about the unsuccessful surgery, they responded casually, saying that it was not a major complication and that her face would disappear within a few days; however, twenty days after the surgery, Swati His face is still swollen. According to sources, they injected her with salicylic acid, not an anesthetic. Swati accused the hospital of giving her wrong treatment. She later shared a photo of herself with a swollen face on social media, which caused a stir. In an interview, she spoke about this and said:
This is what I found when I consulted another dentist for a second opinion. The dentist who did my root canal first injected me with sodium hypochlorite and I screamed and started crying because it was so painful. She was then injected with anesthetic. According to other doctors, it should be done the other way around. Anesthesia is administered first, followed by sodium hypochlorite. ”
