Sydney Baker on Crafting Taylor Swift-Themed Treats amid Singer’s Eras Tour: ‘It Feels Unreal’ (Exclusive)

A baker from Sydney, Australia is feeling inspired by Taylor Swift!

Gabriela Oporto, founder of Bakealicious by Gabriela, tells PEOPLE that she came up with a variety of Swift-themed treats while visiting the singer’s tour in the country.

Speaking about the one-of-a-kind cake she made, Oporto tells PEOPLE, “I did a little research and found out that her favorite color is purple, so I decided to add a beautiful purple flower to the center of the cake.”

Noting that she used ingredients from the Milk Bar Store “as a base,” the baker adds that she then added “my own personal South American flair using dulce de leche and layers of puff pastry.”

Oporto then “finished off” the cake “with puff pastry horns filled with dulce de leche swiss meringue buttercream.”

In addition to the special cake, Oporto has created a range of other snacks, including gluten-free cakes, vegan cakes in a six-flavor combination, her best-selling Victoria biscuit and her Great Chocolate Cake.

Oporto also made some gluten-free Lamington Cakes, a traditional Australian bake consisting of squares of cake that are coated in chocolate and rolled in desiccated coconut.

Sheeran’s tour stopped in the port city last February, while Styles brought his show there in March.

“The feeling is unreal, [I’m] I’m still pinching myself. I feel so proud and grateful to have achieved my dream of owning a successful pastry shop,” says Oporto, adding that “I’m so happy, words can’t describe it.”

Swift made her third appearance on the Eras Tour in Sydney on Sunday night local time, when she expressed her delight at the reception she has received there so far.

“This is honestly … you guys … I don’t know if I knew at this level, that you’re at,” Swift told the crowd, adding, “Maybe I’m in uncharted territory here. I am very happy about that. I’m just amazed. Thanks a lot.”
