Elmo has had a stressful week and T-Pain is ready to help!
It all started when a loved one sesame street the character did a simple social media check to see how everyone was doing on Monday. His now-viral post received a host of unexpected responses, with hundreds of respondents telling him how difficult life was for them.
“Not great, Elmo. Not great,” one person chirped.
On Friday, Elmo and his father Louie stopped by Today show to discuss the many disturbing messages he received after his serious question.
Talking to Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and Craig Melvin about tweeting and the benefits it provides sesame streethe was suddenly physically attacked by comedian Larry David who was also a guest on the morning show.
The 76-year-old left the second part of the live television set to interrupt Elmo’s segment and roughly rough up the puppet.

“Oh my God,” said a stunned Melvin, 44.
“Mr. Larry, Elmo used to like you,” the shaggy red doll replied after being grabbed by the face Curb your enthusiasm star. His father Louie added, “Ask permission before you touch people.”
After the televised attack, T-Pain (39) expressed his support for his beloved sesame street star.
“I know I didn’t just see my men @elmo attacked on live TV,” the “Buy U a Drank” singer tweeted.
On his Instagram Story, he also shared a repost of the tweet, adding, “@Elmo say the word” — further confirming his alliance with the puppet.

The two-time Grammy winner was also one of the original users of X (formerly known as Twitter) who responded to Elmo’s initial inquiry on Monday.
“Elmo is just checking in! How is everyone?” – asked a child character on the social network platform.
“I’m just looking for someone to talk to and show me some love, if you know what I mean,” the “Bartender” singer He saidquoting his own lyrics from the 2007 hit.
However, T-Pain might be pleased to know that Elmo got an apology from David after the unprovoked altercation.

“Larry, you’ve gone too far this time,” Guthrie, 52, said.
“Somebody had to do it!” David replied. “Is anyone really surprised?” Al Roker joked as they all talked to each other, laughing but still surprised by the situation.

After multiple requests for an apology from those on set, David relented: “Elmo, I just want to apologize.”
“Thank you, Larry,” Elmo said. “Elmo accepts your apology, Larry.”
Elmo had previously promised to do more routine checks to make sure people were OK after the outpouring of responses.
“Wow! Elmo is glad he asked! Elmo has learned the importance of asking a friend how they are doing. Elmo will be in touch again soon, friends! Elmo loves you. #Emotional well-being“, he tweeted on Tuesday.
