TS Singh Deo aka Tribhuvaneshwar Saran Singh Deo aka TS Baba was born on Friday, October 31, 1952, in Allahabad (now Prayagraj), Uttar Pradesh, India (age 70; as of 2022). His zodiac sign is Scorpio. He studied at Scindia School in Gwalior and passed IAC in 1969 (12th rank). He pursued BA from Hindu College-Delhi University (HC-DU) and passed in 1972. He pursued his M.A. from Hamidiya Government College of Arts and Commerce, Bhopal University and passed the degree in 1975. He later pursued a political career. In 2001, he became the 118th Maharaja of Surguja; however, he did not like to use this title.

His father, Madneshwar Saran Singh Deo, was the 117th prince of the Surguja family and the former chief secretary of the Madhya Pradesh government. He died in 2001. His mother Maharani Devendra Kumari was the daughter of Jubal Raja Rana Digvijay Chand and his wife Rani · Rani Hemant Kanwar (Rani Hemant Kanwar) was a minister in the Madhya Pradesh government. He passed away on February 10, 2020.

As his family had decades-old ties with the Indian National Congress (INC), he too joined the INC and won the Ambikapur Municipal Council election for the first time in 1983. Later, he became the MLA from Ambikapur legislative constituency in 2008. He again won legislative elections from the same constituency in 2013 and 2018.
From 2013 to 2018, he served as the Leader of Opposition in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. In 2018, he became the cabinet minister in the government of Chhattisgarh with responsibility for health and family welfare, medical education, 20-point plan implementation and commercial tax (GST). On June 28, 2023, he became the first deputy chief minister of Chhattisgarh.
