Tahira Kashyap was born on January 21, 1985 in Chandigarh, India (age 35 in 2018). Tahira is a writer, professor and theater director by profession. Tahira’s writing debut began with her novel “I Promise,” a story about a perfectionist.
Tahira studied at Yadavindra Public School, Mohali and is an alumnus of Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. She holds a master’s degree in mass communications.
In September 2018, Tahira announced on Instagram that her right breast was diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in situ, which contains high-grade malignant cells, and she had undergone a mastectomy. Her husband Ayushmann Khurrana later confirmed that she was fine.
