Tamannaah Bhatia is an Indian actress, model, and dancer, who is known for appearing in many popular South Indian Films. She is famous as ‘Milky Beauty’ in the South Indian film industry. She played the role of Avanthika in the series of the Telugu-Tamil film ‘Baahubali.’

She did her schooling at Maneckji Cooper Education Trust School, Mumbai.

Controversies
Case Filed by a Film Producer
In 2013, the Indian film producer Salim Akhtar filed a cheating and breach of contract case against her at the Association of Motion Picture and TV Programme Producers (AMPTPP) and the Calcutta High Court. He said that as per their contract, after the release of her debut film, she was supposed to pay 25% of her income for five years to Salim, but she failed to do so. Later, her father came into the media and said that she did not sign any such contract. However, the AMPTPP then helped them in settling their case.
Notice Issued by Kerala High Court
In 2021, the Kerala High Court issued a notice to Bhatia and a few other Indian celebrities for promoting online rummy games which is unlawful. The court took the step after a few fraud and suicide cases were registered against such rummy games.
