Tamilisai Soundararajan was born on Friday, June 2, 1961 in Kaliyakkavilai, Konyakumari, Tamil Nadu (age 62; as of 2023). Her zodiac sign is Gemini. She is the school leader of Class X. She started her political career in 1999 as Secretary of Medical Wing South Chennai and has held various positions in the BJP including State Secretary of Medical Wing (2001), All India Co-Convenor (South State Medical Wings, 2005), State Secretary (2007)), National Vice Chairman (2010) and National Secretary (2013). In 2014, Tamil Nadu People’s Party Chairman Tamilsai Soundararajan became the president. On September 1, 2019, she was elected as the governor of Telangana, becoming the first woman to hold this position in the state. On September 9, 2019, she also served as the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry.
