Tamra Judge is giving her social media followers an up-close and personal look at her latest cosmetic procedures.
On Sunday, September 1 The Real Housewives of Orange County The 56-year-old star shared a video on Instagram and Xu (formerly Twitter) in which she detailed her recent brow lift, starting before surgery and going through her recovery period.
“I’m taking you all together on my journey!” The judge captioned the candid video. “I visited Dr. Donald Mowlds in Newport Beach, who works with Dr. Ambe, for a brow lift, CO2 laser, and blue chemical peel.”
“Seven years ago I had a lower facelift, but I skipped the upper one – like painting a house, but I forgot the trim,” she finished the caption. “Stay tuned for updates!”
Just before the operation, Judge took a selfie for her Instagram Stories and joked that she had “never felt more beautiful” as she posed in a medical gown with a cap covered in hair.

Mowlds’ website states that a brow lift is done to remove wrinkles from the forehead, and a “blue peel” is a “ZO controlled deep peel” that uses trichloroacetic acid with blue dye to tighten the skin and correct wrinkles or scars without surgery.
“Okay guys, I made it. I’m in recovery for an hour,” Judge tells the camera in one part of the video, speaking from a hospital bed. “I don’t feel bad. My eyes are blurry because there’s, like, something like Vaseline in there or something. But—let the healing begin.”
The video shows Judge being wheeled out of the Orange County Surgery Center in a wheelchair with his face wrapped in bandages and a blue-green tint across his face from the peeling. In the next clip, she arrived home.
“Okay, I got home from the surgery center about an hour ago, so this is probably three hours post-surgery,” she continued, standing in the kitchen. “They took a bit of skin from the corner of my eye. I had a bit of a fat pocket. It doesn’t hurt too much, honestly. But of course I’m on pain meds – talk to me at 5am.”

Judge ended the video with an update from the morning after her surgery, filmed as she sat in her bed with a plate of food on her lap.
“First day. I feel good. I felt a little beat up,” she continued before showing her breakfast.
“You know what happens when you take them,” Judge added, displaying her prescription drugs before holding up a plastic bag filled with prunes. “You get constipated.”
Eventually, a few more photos flashed across the screen showing a close-up of the Judge’s face covered in bandages, before she noted that she was “in the middle of it” and promised to share more updates in the coming days.
Later on Sunday, Judge shared another update on Instagram and Xwriting in the post’s caption: “Day three and the swelling is making a statement. Progress isn’t always pretty, but it happens.”
In the accompanying video, she spoke in more detail about the swelling. “The swelling is from the CO2 laser. You can see it’s all the way down my chest,” she said as she opened the pajama top to reveal her chest.
In a clip taken at the end of the day, she said: “The swelling should be the worst right now. I don’t know how it can get any worse. My skin feels like it’s going to burst. You can see it’s leaking.”
She also explained that she could barely open her eyes and that her throat hurt. “Hopefully I’ll make it through tomorrow,” she said.

This isn’t the first time the reality TV star has shared candid updates about her health and surgeries. In October 2023, Judge revealed on social media that she was hospitalized for an intestinal obstruction after experiencing abdominal pain.
Prior to that, in 2012, she underwent emergency surgery to remove an incarcerated hernia, which saved her life. The procedure left her with a damaged navel outside the middle, and in December 2022 she decided to undergo a corrective abdominoplasty to solve the problem.
It was “one of the most painful things I’ve ever done in my life,” Judge told PEOPLE in February 2023 of the experience. “God knows I’ve been under the knife before, but recovering from this was worse than anything I’ve ever had, I mean, I’ve given birth to four children, and even that was easier!”
