  • In his spare time, he either enjoys singing or playing sports like football or cricket. He also enjoys traveling.
  • There was a tradition in his family that everyone had to choose their own surname. Kanishk’s father’s surname was Das, and he took his grandfather’s surname “Baghchi” as his surname.
  • After stopping piano lessons as a child, Kanishk became interested in singing. People liked his voice and started inviting him to gigs. He started making money by singing at shows and events.
  • In his early teens, he released his first album, which was recorded in Bengali. He launched his album at a fair in Kolkata.
