Tanvi Sonigra is an Indian actress and theater artist working in the Indian entertainment industry. She is known for her role as Vipassana in the OTT series Girls Hotel Season 3 (2022).

She started her theater journey in 2014, performing in several inter-school plays and national level festivals including Thespo, Adi Marzban, IPTA and Bhavai. She acted and puppeteered in a multilingual play called Mujer with British director Trina Halder, and performed in a dramatized reading of You Shall Give Me Grandsons. Tanvi has worked in many productions of renowned directors such as Manoj Shah, Kamlesh Mohta and Abhishek Majumdar. She has also worked as a stage manager for many theater director shows including Sheena Khalid, Puja Sarup and Niketan Sharma. After graduating from NSD, she participated in an interdisciplinary art exhibition titled “Crazy Tea Party” (by Ragini Singh Khushwaha and Akshat Nigam). She attended a physical theater workshop called Moksha-A Dance Retreat in Nature. At this workshop she trained with renowned theater artists such as Rob Hayden, Clementine Telesfort and Eleanore PB, before directing and creating a solo work titled “Rapunzel 2.0”.

In 2017, Tanvi was appointed Copywriting and Social Media Manager at Effingloficial. She later worked as a communications manager at a Mumbai drama school for six months.
