Tanya started her acting career in 2018 with the TVF web series “Fire”. She subsequently appeared in many videos on the YouTube channel “The Timeliners”. She also worked as a writing intern at media website The Social Rush. In 2019, she starred in the sequel to the web series “Fire”. In the same year, she was invited to star in Mira Nair’s BBC drama adapted from Vikram Seth’s novel A Suitable Boy. Also starring Tabu and Ishaan Khatter.
