Under the leadership of Chief Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan, more than 63,000 cases have been disposed of. He also delivered many landmark judgments, including:
- Justice Tallok made the Somoto finding on the tragedy when 24 students of an engineering college in Hyderabad were washed away in the Beas river on June 8, 2014.
- In the case of Mathu Ram v. MC Shimla, Justice Tarlok held that the time interval between issuance of regularization policy fixing different deadlines cannot be a reason to deny the benefit of regularization after completion of service on daily wages.
- Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan, in one of his judgments, directed the Himachal Pradesh Police to upload all FIRs on its portal. He also directed the police to arrange for online registration of FIRs.
