Tarsem Jassar was born on 4 July 1986 (33 years old; as of 2019) in Jassar village (Luddhiana) in Amloh, Fatehgarh Sahib district, Punjab. His zodiac sign is Cancer. He completed his education at Amloh and then went to Mata Gujri College, Fatehgarh Sahib for his bachelor’s degree. Next, he enrolled for M.SC course but he dropped out and completed PGDCA. Jassar has had a keen interest in writing since he was a child. He used to sing Kavishri songs during his school days. Tasem began writing poetry while in college, and then went to England to work as a laborer.

Tarsem started his career as a lyricist with the song “Vehli Janta” sung by Kulbir Jhinjher. In 2013, he composed the lyrics of the song “College Di Yaad”, which became a hit and earned him recognition. Jassar first sang the Punjabi song “Attwadi” in 2014, which did not clear the censor board and was not released on television. Next, he released the song “Galwakdi” which became a huge hit. Tarsem subsequently released songs like “Creez”, “Over Under”, “Asool”, “Ghaint Bande”, “Illuminati”, “Mardan Di Shaan”, “Rehmat”, “Sardara” and “Rangle Chubare”.
In 2017, Tarsem made his debut in the entertainment industry by playing the role of Manjinder Singh in the Punjabi film “Rabb Da Radio”. He then acted in films like Sardar Mohammad, Daana Paani, Afsar, Uda Aida and Rabb Da Radio 2.
