Are Tate McRae and The Kid LAROI dating?

The two musicians were spotted heading out for dinner at Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Los Angeles on Tuesday – shortly after sparking dating rumors as they appeared to be spending time together on holiday in Mexico earlier this month.

McRae, 20, was dressed casually, including Adidas pants and black boots for the dinner date, while LAROI, also 20, wore a red Indiana University T-shirt with ripped jeans, a gray cap and Converse trainers.

Earlier this month, both artists were on vacation in Mexico and were filmed dancing with friends in a clip that has since been shared by fans on social media.

Eagle-eyed fans have also been spotted similarities in the settings of photos from summer vacations posted on social media by both the “Greedy” singer and LAROI — as well as McRae posing for Instagram selfie in a shirt eerily similar to the one the “Stay” artist wore on the trip.

LAROI commented on a smiling sunglasses emoji on McRae’s vacation post, while a fan said one of his tattoos was visible in a group photo she shared.

Representatives for McRae and LAROI did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

McRae was most recently in a relationship with ice hockey star Cole Sillinger from late 2021 to early last year. She previously dated fellow Calgary, Alberta, Canada native Jonny Hader from 2019 to 2021.

LAROI was previously in a relationship with Katarina Deme for about three years, though he appeared to confirm their breakup by deleting all photos with the TikTok star from his Instagram page in August 2023, according to the Daily Mail, and later shared a picture of the T-shirt printed with the words “F— LOVE.”

Heartbreak was the inspiration for McRae’s last album Think laterwhich fell in December 2023. In an interview with Vogue around its release, she opened up about the relationships that inspired the album’s lyrics.

“I feel like I’m in a whole new phase of my life,” McRae told the paper. “I just feel a lot more grown up and that I’ve gone through experiences that I was too terrified to talk about before.”

She added: “During the past year and a half, I made many decisions based on intuition and what I felt in my heart. And it resulted in some of the most beautiful relationships and passionate moments of my life, and I fell very much in love, but I got through and through experiences that were very unpleasant and I strongly felt the consequences of that approach. When you lead with intuition, you feel the consequences 10 times stronger. That’s how the album really rocks.”
