Taylor Louderman and Brooks Toth got married in a fairytale setting

Taylor Louderman and Brooks Toth met for the first time in 2018 at a mutual friend’s party in Manhattan. They started dating soon after, and got engaged on Christmas Eve 2019. According to Brides magazine, the couple chose the historic lighthouse in Jupiter, Florida for its “picturesque setting.” However, they could not because the facility was fully booked all year round. The couple decided to change their wedding plans and exchange vows in Louderman’s hometown in Missouri. However, fate had other ideas for them, so they managed to book their desired place. In an interview with Brides magazine, they stated:

“We didn’t want to wait and we didn’t have anything against a simple wedding when COVID came. So we decided to check if the lighthouse had any vacancies, which it did! We rented an RV, flew Taylor’s family to Florida, and created memories that will last a lifetime.”

Taylor Louderman and Toth secured the venue for their private wedding ceremony on June 14, 2020, surrounded by friends and family. According to the magazine, only 25 people attended the event, which was followed by dinner at a restaurant and a steel drum performance. They told the same publication:

“I was really looking forward to organizing a more personal ceremony. The simplicity of our wedding seemed to reflect us beautifully, and I believe that is the silver lining of COVID. It gave us license to mix things up and concentrate on why we were there in the first place.”

Michelle Lawson also hired a “Covid couple” to photograph their wedding day.
