Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Romance ‘All Feels Very Special,’ Says Source (Exclusive)

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s love story is nothing short of “special.”

After spending a lot of time with the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs during her recent hiatus from the stage, Swift, 33, continued her Eras Tour — and sparks are still flying between the new couple.

“Taylor was excited to begin her international tour. She had a great vacation,” a source told PEOPLE.

An insider says that during her hiatus in 1989 the singer “loved hanging out with the girls” and “had fun spending time with Travis.”

“He’s a gentleman,” a source says of the NFL star. “He is very focused on his career. He has a great relationship with his family. He has an amazing energy and approach to life.”

“Everything feels very special,” adds the insider.

Swift and Kelce, who flew in to support the singer on the South American leg of her hit tour this weekend, delighted fans with a romantic moment together after the “Cruel Summer” singer’s concert in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Saturday.

During the performance, Swift cheekily changed the lyrics to her hit song “Karma” in a not-so-subtle nod to her athletic beau, and of course, concertgoers caught his reaction on video.

In fan-shot footage from the concert, the NFL star watched the singer perform the hit Midnight track as she stood in the VIP tent with her dad, Scott Kingsley Swift.

“Karma is the guy on the Chiefs goes straight home to me,” Swift sang, prompting Kelce to smile widely.

The singer-songwriter’s dad — who was wearing a Chiefs belt — also reacted excitedly, patting the footballer on the shoulder and clapping his hands in support.

Kelce also loved back, at one point. IN clip captured by a concertgoer, held up a sign that read “WE WILL STAY” while singing her song “The Archer,” a reference to her lyrics: “I’ve been the shooter / I’ve been the prey / Who could ever leave me, darling? / But who could stay?”

After leaving the stage, Swift ran to hug Kelce backstage and gave him a big kiss, which can be seen in another video taken at the concert performances.

The very public display of love came a day after the pair were spotted out for dinner together in Buenos Aires.

A source revealed to PEOPLE that the star athlete was “glowing” during their romantic dinner, and that he and the singer “looked so cute at their low-key dinner.”

“They also left holding hands,” the insider said, adding that “the restaurant crowd cheered briefly as they left.”

The couple’s blossoming romance heats up since Fearless the singer performed for the first time at a Chiefs game at the end of September.

Since then, she has attended three more Kelce games, making a surprise appearance with him in one episode Saturday night live and seen on several dates with him.

In late October, a source told PEOPLE that the romance between the two “soon became more serious.”

“They share a strong work ethic and a strong appreciation for life and their careers, a strong family bond and values,” the insider added.
