Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour team put in the work — and she rewarded them handsomely.
Over the past two years, Swift handed out $197 million in bonuses to everyone who worked on her tour — including truck drivers, caterers, instrument technicians, the sales team, lighting, sound, production staff and assistants, carpenters, dancers, the band, security, choreographers, pyrotechnics, outfitters, hair, make-up, wardrobe, physiotherapists and video team — confirms PEOPLE.
In August 2023, as Swift wrapped up the first North American leg of the tour, PEOPLE confirmed that she had given away more than $55 million in bonuses.
On Sunday, Dec. 8, Swift, 34, took the stage at Vancouver’s BC Place Stadium for the final performance of her Eras Tour, which kicks off in Glendale, Arizona, in March 2023.

During its opening Lover set, Swift shared her gratitude to fans and concertgoers.
“We’ve been all over the world,” she said. “We had so many adventures. It was the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, challenging thing I’ve ever done in my life.”
Later, before performing “Karma” (the last song on her set list) and taking a final bow, Swift told the crowd, “I want to thank each and every one of you for being a part of the most exciting chapter of my life to date — my beloved Eras Tour.”

After her 149th and final show, Swift’s production company, Taylor Swift Touring, confirmed for The New York Times that 10,168,008 people attended the Eras tour — and that it sold a total of $2,077,618,725 in tickets, making it the best-selling tour of all time and “double the gross ticket sales of any other concert tour in history.”

Swift ends 2024 on an unprecedented high note. In addition to her record-breaking tour, she scored big with a follow-up tour Taylor Swift | Eras Tour bookwhich sold 814,000 copies in the first two days, making it the most successful publishing release of the year. In addition, Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music announced that Swift was the most listened to artist of 2024, and her 11th album, Department for tortured poetswas the most played album of the year.
Although she’s reached the end of her Eras Tour era, Swift has a lot to look forward to in 2025. The 14-time Grammy winner is up for six more Golden Globes at the awards, including Album of the Year for TTPD.
