Taylor Swift Goes Mad for Plaid Ahead of London Eras Tour Shows in $2,000+ Vivienne Westwood Suit

Taylor Swift has some preparation in her step.

Ahead of the return of her Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium in London, the 34-year-old singer stepped out in a bold Vivienne Westwood ensemble to host a party for her tour staff on Monday (August 12). Swift turned heads in a multi-colored plaid suit from the British fashion house, which retails for more than $2,000 in total.

The Vivienne Westwood Cropped Jacket ($1,395) has an angular, cropped silhouette and sleeves that are cut off at the elbow. Swift paired the item with a white shirt (a $760 Vivienne Westwood design) with extra-long sleeves and frill details on the collar.

The “Cruel Summer” singer also wore a Cut Off Skirt ($960) with an asymmetrical hemline that, according to the designer’s website, highlights “Vivienne’s signature approach to reinterpreting traditional styles through daring and unconventional silhouettes.”

With a preppy-chic look, Swift wore pistachio platform Mary Jane heels from Sézane that paired with the green stripes on the suit (and they quickly sold out). She added white socks and carried a tiny Vivienne Westwood Tuesday bag. Her dark blonde hair was styled in her signature curls, while her strands were swept to one side.

The outing marks the singer’s first public appearance since her tour in Vienna was canceled due to a terrorist threat. On August 7, authorities confirmed that two men had been arrested in connection with a planned attack on concerts scheduled for August 8-10.
