Taylor Swift Keeps It Festive with ’87’ Santa Hat at Kansas City Chiefs Game on Christmas Day

Taylor Swift is bringing all her holiday cheer to the Chiefs’ Christmas game — and her signature sense of style.

The musician supported Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce as his team played at home against the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday. Swift wore a black and gray plaid miniskirt, a red sweater, black leggings, her favorite black heeled moccasins and a black bomber jacket (Guest in Residence brand by bestie Gigi Hadid.

She wore her hair half up in a cute black bow. However, when she entered her suite, she rounded out her look with a very festive Santa hat with “87” on it – Kelce’s number.

Swift has proven her affinity for the plaid miniskirt – she also wore it to last week’s game against the New England Patriots. The plaid detailing is the perfect way to combine all of the Chiefs game colors, showcasing vibrant red with a balance of neutrals.

The “Lavendar Haze” singer wore a variety of pieces this season while supporting the Kelce — everything from vintage tees to a cute beanie with her boyfriend’s jersey number. On one occasion, she even brought out custom bracelets, made by a local Missouri brand.

Earlier this month, the superstar couple partook in a more typical holiday celebration as they partied at the Miracle holiday pop-up bar in Kansas City.

It’s been a tumultuous year for Swift and Kelce, with Swift embarking on the international Eras Tour and releasing a record-breaking concert film, while Kelce won the Super Bowl — not to mention the couple’s romance that took the world by storm.

They first sparked dating rumors after Kelce tried to give Swift his number on the Eras Tour in July. Since then, fans have followed every detail as the superstars’ relationship unfolded.

Swift confirmed romance rumors by attending a Chiefs game on Sept. 24, her first of many game days. In Kelce’s private suite, Swift cheered alongside his family and friends.

“I just thought it was great how everyone in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her — friends and family,” Kelce said after her arrival. “She looked amazing and everyone was talking about her in a great light.”

The pop superstar clarified the timeline of the couple’s relationship in her Time Person of the Year cover story, saying she started hanging out with Kelce right after he put her “on his podcast” in July.

She added that at her first Chiefs game, things were already official: “We were a couple.”

Swift attended multiple Chiefs games, sometimes bringing her friends and often cheering her tough boyfriend on to victory.

“Football is great, it shows,” Swift said Time. “I’m missing out on my whole life.”

Taylor Swift is wearing a red plush coat to support Travis Kelce — and Brittany Mahomes has an almost identical one!

The attention catapulted the Kelce family, accustomed to sports stars, to new levels of fame. Kelce’s mom, Donna Kelce, called it a “wild, wild ride” as the couple’s romance began to grow in October. Kelce then said that he was “on top of the world”.

In Swift’s Time interview, she said that the couple wants to support each other.

“When you say the relationship is public, it means I’m going to see him doing what he likes, we’re showing off to each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she said.

In October, a source told PEOPLE that things were “quickly getting serious” between the Grammy winner and the soccer star.

“They share a strong work ethic and a strong appreciation for life and their careers, a strong family bond and values,” the source said.

In late November, another source told PEOPLE that Kelce’s friends think his relationship with Swift is “a real deal.”

“They’re still a bit shocked about it all — that he’s coming out the Taylor Swift, but they saw how down to earth she was with his friends and family,” the source said.
