Taylor Swift's $36,000 Date Night Earrings Were Gifted to Her After She Wore Them to the 2024 Golden Globes

Taylor Swift is always bejeweled when she steps out of the house, and lately she’s been sporting some very special De Beers diamonds!

If you’ve been keeping up with the Grammy winner’s style, you’ve probably spotted the dazzling $36,000 De Beers Arpeggia One Line earrings she paired with most of her looks.

For her date in New York with Travis Kelce on Dec. 28, Swift, 35, wore the pair — which boast nearly 5 carats of diamonds — with a bejeweled Simkhai Ganni coat and Christian Louboutin Movida heels. She also hit the town with friend Gigi Hadid on Dec. 3 in an elegant Simkhai dress with sparkling ear jewelry. And, even at her Eras Tour-themed soiree hosted by Kelce earlier this month, Swift accessorized her Balmain halter mini with a bit of her signature De Beers glitter.

But die-hard Swifties know that the “Cruel Summer” singer originally wore the luxe accessory to the 2024 Golden Globes. That time, she teamed a set of single but ever-so-sparkly 18K white gold chains with De Beers Arpeggia Three Line earrings, a classic round brilliant studs and a Dewdrop Ear Cuff, creating an impressive array of earrings to go with her snake green Gucci dress.

A rep for the jeweler tells PEOPLE they were so happy to see Swift sparkle in the earrings at the awards show that they gifted her a pair. Usually, most celebrity stylists lend jewelry to their clients for high-profile events, so Swift is actually taking home her own pair (although exact one is unconfirmed) is additional proof of her powerful position as a creator of cultural taste.

In fact, Swift once again wore some of her most memorable accessories and shoes with her everyday outfits, which shows that she puts her one-of-a-kind pieces to good use (and that her closet is full of tailoring memorabilia).

Over the summer, the pop star was photographed on a hen party in Liverpool on her day off following the UK leg of her tour. For the outing, she again wore a custom choker for a vintage Lorraine Schwartz watch (which was later revealed to be an Easter egg for Department for tortured poets) to make her debut at the 2024 Grammys, where she dazzled in 300 carats of diamonds from the jewelry store.

Later that month in London, she stepped out on a date night with Kelce wearing pastel yellow Gucci shoes that one Swiftie pointed out were the same shoes Swift wore in her 2019 “You Need to Calm Down” music video (talk about loyalty!) .
