With each game day appearance, Taylor Swift becomes a more official member of the Chiefs Kingdom.

The singer, 34, was in Kansas City on Saturday to support Travis Kelce and the Chiefs in the NFL playoffs, and she didn’t just wear the iconic puffer jacket with Kelce’s number on it — she was also spotted getting into the spirit and joining fans in dancing which has become a ritual at Arrowhead Stadium.

When FLY’s “Swag Surfin’” plays on the Chiefs’ home field, the official dance break begins. Fans start swaying from side to side as the rap song plays, and Swift joined the party on Saturday as she swayed to the beat of the song and the massive crowd. Brittany Mahomes and Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce, were by the singer’s side and also surfed as they watched the Chiefs destroy the Miami Dolphins 26-7.

Fans loved how Swift got into the spirit during the game, and Sunday Night Football’s official account shared a video of her dancing alongside Donna, 71, and Brittany, 28, as fans watched and captured the fun moment outside their suite. The NFL also shared footage of the dance break.

In an episode of Travis’ podcast with his brother, New heights with Jason and Travis Kelceearlier this month, the tight end called the song a “classic” for the team as he revealed he’s been playing it at Arrowhead Stadium to hype up fans since joining the team in 2013.

When Jason, 36, was asked about the song’s significance, Travis said it’s “a big fourth quarter, a big moment,” and is often played in rhythm with an important defensive drive. “They released a highlight video with ‘Swag Surfin’ as the song and it got everyone hyped.”

In the episode, the brothers discussed video from the Chiefs’ New Year’s game where linebacker Willie Gay Jr. proposed a song to get the crowd excited, and once that happened, he and his teammates started dancing on the sidelines along with the audience. in the stands, and the mood was immediately lifted. In the clip, shared by the team on Instagram, Gay told the cameraman: “Spread the word and tell them to play ‘swag surf’. We really need that.”

Yesterday was Swift’s 10th time attending a Chiefs game this season, the team’s 7-3 record with her in the crowd. Less than a week earlier, she was glowing in green as she enjoyed a night out with Hollywood’s biggest stars at the Golden Globes.

She brought her BFF Keleigh Sperry as her companion to the awards show, where her concert film Eras Tour was nominated for motion picture and cinematography.
