Taylor Swift's Famous Fashions to Be Displayed at Victoria and Albert Museum (Are You Ready for It!?)

Look at Taylor Swift’s career start over in a new exhibition coming to the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Temporary display — the so-called Taylor Swift | The path of the songbook — will be open from July 27 to September 9. 8 and showcase 16 outfits the singer-songwriter, 34, has worn throughout her career.

A press release from the museum said the exhibition is in honor of Swift’s successful UK Eras tour and aims to “celebrate the creativity of her costumes, lyrics and music videos and explore the pop icon’s global phenomenon”.

The “Shake It Off” singer wrapped up the first three star-studded London stops of her Eras Tour on June 23 at Wembley Stadium, but is set to return on August 15 for five more dates.

In addition to the costumes, the exhibition will feature Swift’s instruments, music awards, scripts and archival material – many of which are available to the public for the first time, according to the museum.

The exhibition is said to feature “13 stations” – a nod to the singer’s lucky number – each of which will shed light on “a specific period of her music and prolific songwriting”.

The V&A’s senior curator of theater and performance, Kate Bailey, said in a statement: “We’re delighted to be showcasing a range of iconic looks worn by Taylor Swift at the V&A this summer. Each one celebrates a chapter in the artist’s musical journey. Taylor Swift’s songs like subjects tell stories, often drawing from art, history and literature.”

Bailey continued: “We hope this theatrical trail through the museum will encourage curious visitors to discover more about the performer, her creativity and the V&A facilities.”

While Swift left a few of her precious belongings behind in London, she spent a lavish time bringing her tour to Dublin, where she played from June 28-30.

At the last stop in the race, she dedicated the song “Clara Bow” from The Tortured Poets Department to Fleetwood Mac legend Stevie Nicks, 76, during the surprise song segment.

“She is my hero and someone I can tell any secret to, and she would never tell anyone,” Swift said during the presentation of the song. “She’s really helped me through so much over the years. I’m talking about Stevie Nicks.”
